A quick summary of JAM (REGISTER button below)

• There are two dates remaining for JAM.  August 6 and August 8.
• Each date takes place in the evening from 6:30PM to 8PM
• After 8PM - Each evening concludes with desert and fellowship

DETAIL

THE THEME:  Each evening will focus on one of Jesus’ parables. This is very similar to traditional Vacation Bible School, except we are offering it in the evening.

• August 6 - The Mustard Seed parable.
• August 8 - The Lost Sheep parable

EACH EVENING:

Arrival: Participants will arrive between 6:15 – 6:25pm, the program starts a 6:30pm. There will be a Welcome Table to assist you when you arrive. We will gather in our sanctuary and sing a few fun songs related to the parable.

The Program:  Then, the participants will be assembled in age-appropriate groups and will travel through our 3 stations at various times. Each station is led by a Fox River Congregational Church member who is skilled in the activities involved.  Parents are welcome to stay at the church and have coffee in the fellowship hall or walk the campus faith walk during the program.

The stations are:

• “GAS” station, or God’s Amazing Stories and Songs, where participants will learn about and discuss the parable from the Bible and learn some songs as well.
• Arts and Crafts, where participants will create a project to go along with the story.
• Games - Outdoor/Indoor, where participants will play a variety of games.

Desert and Fellowship: Then, at 8:00pm all the participants will gather in the sanctuary where they will meet up with their parents. All are welcome to join us for dessert and fellowship after the program.
