Fox River CARES With Quilts

Fox River CARES With Quilts creates “Care Quilts” for members of our congregation, those referred through our Prayer Network, and others who need Christian love, prayer, and support.

This group is about more than making quilts - it is an opportunity for Christian fellowship and serving others. You do not need to know how to sew to participate! There are many ways to help with cutting, assembling, tying, organizing supplies, and other quilt-making tasks. Teens and adults are welcome offering an opportunity to learn sewing and quilting while serving others.

Meetings are ongoing from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Tuesdays of each month. The group will meet in the Quilt Room at church and may expand to a larger space as participation grows.

We are currently accepting cotton fabric or cash donations to purchase fabric.

Fabric may include fun novelty prints, pretty nature prints, masculine prints, or solid colors.

Pieces of at least two yards are especially appreciated.

Monetary gifts can be made out to Fox River Church with “Quilt Ministry” noted in the memo.
